Risdon's "Survey of Devon" This tree has been continued beyond the medieval period so that the history of the family and the fate of Stafford Barton in Dolton, Devon can be traced. The family left many monuments in the local churches which can be seen here. The Villages of Dolton, Dowland and Iddesleigh Sir John Le White de Stouford is particularly difficult to place. His name and locations(he had property in Dowland) would suggest he is related to the |
